I suggest downloading the power point presentations in advance if possible. Often college professors will post presentations online. It is to your advantage to print them out and take them to class with you for the lecture. May I suggest printing three slides per page. It will automatically give you lines on the right of each slide for you to take notes on what is said in class as opposed to spending all of your class time writing down what is on the slides.

3. Feeding a Classmate Sign-Up |
Go to your Google Classroom assignment where you documented your classmates vital signs. Look at the promethean for the electronic readings. Unsubmit your assignment, type in the electronic readings in the table. For every reading you documented within ten mmHg of the electronic reading, but an * next to the classmate's name. When finished resubmit so I can see who had the most accurate readings across the class.
|
While you are waiting your turn to practice the bedmaking skill or assisting with a bedpan, you are to complete this chart as if you are working in the Supply Department for a hospital. To complete the chart use the internet to research the cost of various vital sign supplies that you need to order. After completing the chart, calculate the grand total of the order. Note! There is a quantity column of how many items you need to order so be sure your math is correct.
|
On Google Classroom there is a posted assignment titled "Feeding a Classmate Sign-up." Next class we will each practice feeding a classmate. You and a partner need to open the assignment, read the directions, and complete the chart accordingly. It is imperative that you remember you items for Wednesday.
