Ms. L Williams is originally from west-central Georgia. Prior to working at BCHS she worked as a Certified Athletic Trainer for St. Joseph's / Candler Hospital in Savannah, Georgia.
She received her Bachelor's of Science in Education from the University of Georgia in 2005 where she worked as a student athletic trainer for UGA Softball, Volleyball, Football, and Soccer. After graduation she became a Graduate Assistant for the Hughston Orthopedic Hospital in Columbus Georgia. While working on her Master's degree, Ms. Williams worked as an ATC for 3A Northside High School. She also provided sports medicine coverage to a variety of community events, to name a few: rodeos, club soccer tournaments, military rugby tournaments, Steeplechase, and the Columbus Lions minor league arena-football team. In 2007, Ms. Williams graduated with her Masters in Physical Education.
This is in her third year teaching at Battery Creek High School. Over the past three years she has taken on many roles at BC: Swim Team Coach (1 year), Softball Coach (1 year), Cheerleading Coach (3 years), HOSA Adviser (3 years), Assistant Athletic Director for Female Sports (3 years), and Junior Prom Committee volunteer.

I am always looking for someone to teach my students about their career, nutrition, human and growth development, geriatric care, vital signs, and legal aspects of health care.
